Making the Best of a Bad Situation

This has been a truly tough time for everyone. Restaurants have been especially hard-hit and the whole food service landscape may change for the foreseeable future. Exactly how, no one knows, but Chef Dan and the Union Straw staff have been challenging themselves above and beyond to keep the menus fresh and exciting.
Massachusetts is right on the cusp of allowing restaurants to do outside dining and, while exciting, it’s a situation fraught with new demands, expectations, and uncertainties. Chef Dan wants to thank everyone who has kept Union Straw hopping with all those takeout orders, and we’re looking forward to serving you on the premises once again!
And no matter what the the next few months bring to the big table, we hope that everyone out there is healthy, happy, and, if we have ANY say in the matter, well fed!
